7-a. VOTE: Request for Approval for the Mayor’s Committee on Disability to move forward with and lead the following three (3) Disability-led, Community Organized, Disability Pride events for the month of July 2025 (Kathlyne Gish, Chairperson of the Mayor's Committee on Disability): The 2nd Annual Disability Pride Parade and Celebration on the Plaza to be held on July 13th, 2025, and most importantly to be Disability-led, along with the recommendation to accept the offer by the Human Rights Alliance of Santa Fe, NM to serve as the acting non-profit fiscal sponsor and support. The 3rd Annual Disability Pride Month Proclamation and Flag Raising to be held following the Disability Pride parade on July 13th, 2025, and most importantly to be Disability-led, along with the recommendation to accept the offer by the Human Rights Alliance of Santa Fe, NM to serve as the acting non-profit fiscal sponsor and support. The 3rd Annual Accessibility Awards to be held at the end of July 2025 (A Date to Be Determined), and most importantly to be Disability-led, along with the recommendation to accept the offer by the Human Rights Alliance of Santa Fe, NM to serve as the acting fiscal non-profit sponsor and support. ( For clarification: please note that these three (3) Disability Pride events are specifically to separately celebrate disability identity, culture, and inclusion, as well as the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act during the month of July )
