Garcia6 7 8 9 10 A BILL11 SPECIFYING THAT SPECIFIC AND LIMITED FISHING EVENTS ON CITY-OWNED12 PROPERTY IN THE SANTA FE MUNICIPAL WATERSHED MAY BE APPROVED BY13 THE GOVERNING BODY.14 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE:15 Section 1. Section 25-1.9 of SFCC 1987 (being Ord. No. 2003-25, § 33, as16 amended) is amended to read:17 25-1.9 Santa Fe river watershed; prohibited uses; posting of notices.18 A. Trespassing, bathing, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, picnicking, the grazing of19 all domestic livestock and unauthorized shooting, within the Santa Fe watershed are forbidden,20 except for specific and limited fishing events on city-owned property in the watershed and approved21 at a governing body meeting.22 B. The properties of the water reservoir system owned by and under the control of the23 city of Santa Fe and the U.S. Forest Service shall be posted with notices warning all persons against24 violation of any of the ordinances of the city and county of Santa Fe, of the laws of the state of New25 underscored material = new [bracketed material] = delete 10761.0 2 Mexico, the United States government or any rules or regulations adopted pursuant thereto, which1 provide for the protection of any reservoir, or properties of the water impounding system.2 C. All officials and employees of the city water and utility of the city of Santa Fe are3 hereby vested with authority to enforce all laws, orders, ruling and regulations enacted for the4 protection of these waters and the properties pertaining thereto.5 D.
