Regarding the Appeal # 2026-12776 of case #2026-12126-HDRB
I live in the neighborhood and drive by this site, 515 Paseo de Peralta, nearly
daily. It sits uphill from the road, making it already feel taller than the surrounding
sites. I do not feel it is appropriate to allow a 24’ height nor a build out
exceeding 50% of the Historic Footprint of a Significant Structure. Although
in disrepair, it is a handsome building and has Historic Material that should NOT
be removed.
The City of Santa Fe must keep it’s historic buildings and enhance, rather than
overbuild. The 3470 sq ft ADDITION is excessive on this site. I agree with the
Neighboring property owner, that this proposal should not go through.
