BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY: The BDDB authorizes funding from the BDD MR&R Fund for the purpose of completing multiple projects as approved in its annual Budget; the BDDB also authorizes funding from its Settlement Investment account, which is carried in the MR&R Fund. As of July 1, 2026, the following projects were still on-going and are expected to be continued within the FY2027 fiscal year: MRRF On-going project balance: • $100,000 – BS1A Valve Rebuild or Replace – FY25 Appropriation (Approved 3/7/24) • 85,000 – Building UPS Replacement – FY25 Appropriation (Approved 3/7/24) • 750,000 – PLC Replacement – FY25 Appropriation (Approved 3/7/24) • 60,000 – Surge Tank Bladder Replacement – FY25 Appropriation (Approved 3/7/24) • 444,000 – VFD Replacement at BS2A (Approved 4/2/25) • 100,000 – BS1A Pump/Motor Cyclical Rebuild (Approved 4/2/25) • 100,000 – BS2A Pump/Motor Cyclical Rebuild (Approved 4/2/25) • 100,000 – Centrifuge Repair/Rebuild (Approved 4/2/25) • 36,000 – Ozone Monitors Replacement (Approved 4/2/25) • 96,000 – WTP Epoxy Flooring (Approved 4/2/25) • 275,000 – Utility Systems Rebuild or Replace – Appropriation Balance (Approved 10/2/25) Settlement Investment On-going project balance: • $2,132,956 – Owners Representative (Approved 9/4/25) ACTION REQUESTED: Staff recommend approval of the attached Budget Amendment Resolutions to re-authorize $2,146,000 from the Major Repair & Replacement Fund and $2,132,956 from the Settlement Investment.
