Remarks will be followed by response to process questions. This item is not a case and will not address any pending or recent application. Topics to be covered • Purpose of a Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA) • TIA is professional engineering work under the New Mexico Engineering and Surveying Practice Act. • Current Guidelines: City TIA guidelines (in use since August 2024) and the State Access Management Manual as reference. Coordination with other agencies where jurisdiction meets or overlaps. • TIA Study area and comparison: existing conditions, opening year, and up to 10 years for higher-intensity projects. • TIA in Context: Planning Commission’s use of a reviewed, sealed transportation study as one input among others in the land-use decision.
