Memo Attachment A: Proposed 2026 General Obligation Bond Program Street, Sidewalk, and Pedestrian Accessibility Improvements Proposed General Obligation Bond Project Summary Maximum Bond Authorization: $11,250,000 The following projects represent the City’s anticipated initial investment priorities for the Street, Sidewalk, and Pedestrian and Bicycle Accessibility General Obligation Bond. The project list may be modified by the Governing Body as necessary based on funding availability, bid results, changing conditions, grant opportunities, utility coordination, project delivery considerations, or other public needs, provided all expenditures remain consistent with the purposes authorized by the bond. Roadway Rehabilitation Projects (Approximately $10,000,000) Council District Street Limits District 2 Rodeo Road Yucca Street to Sawmill Road District 4 Calle Atajo Rufina Street to Terminus District 1 Alameda Street St. Francis Drive to Guadalupe Street District 1 Alameda Street Guadalupe Street to Paseo de Peralta District 1 Alameda Street Paseo de Peralta to Palace Avenue District 3 Jemez Road Airport Road to Agua Fria Street District 4 Center Drive Entire Length District 3 Agua Fria Street Airport Road to Camino Juliana District 4 Calle La Resolana Cerrillos Road to Siringo Road District 3 Vuelta Dorado Entire Length District 3 Calle Verde Entire Length Sidewalk and Pedestrian and Bicycle Accessibility Improvements (Approximately $1,250,000) Bond proceeds are anticipated to support the Complete Streets Division’s existing Sidewalk Rehabilitation Program, including the construction, rehabilitation, replacement, and accessibility improvement of sidewalks, curb ramps, pedestrian crossings, bicycle infrastructure and related infrastructure throughout the City. Individual locations will be prioritized based on: • ADA accessibility requirements • Public safety • Connectivity • School and transit access • Sidewalk and pedestrian infrastructure condition • Emergency response needs • Geographic equity
