On Wednesday, the Santa Fe Community Art Gallery is hosting a gallery talk with co-curator Erin Payne and guest artist from "Truth, Memory, Joy, Resistance: Black Expressions in New Mexico" at 2:00 p.m. On Wednesday evening, the Santa Fe Community Art Gallery is hosting "Truth and Memory in the Age of AI" from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Join Dr. Shantel Murphy and exhibition artists in a panel discussion on the complexities of art and AI. Space is limited to 25 people, so come early if you want to see. On Friday, join the Southside Library in a celebration of Black artists and creators in the cafe room from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. for children, tweens, and teens. This event will feature games, music, and hands-on projects inspired by Black inventors, artists, and performers. If you're interested in additional Black History Month programming, you'll have two opportunities to attend "The Power of Indignation with Black American Novelist Richard Wright." The first will be held Friday, February 27th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the main library. The second will be held Saturday, February 28th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Southside Library.
