They only say on TV, "Live from New York." They don't say, "Live from Santa Fe," although that'd be the name of a good show, "Live from Santa Fe," just saying. We're waiting for your cue, Madam Clerk. Mayor Weber, you are live. Thank you. I am going to call to meeting this special meeting of the governing body at 4:45, and we will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance from Councilor Chavez, salute the New Mexico flag by Councilor Lindell, and a brief invocation from Councilor Marwood. Thank you, Mayor. We're gathered here this evening for a number of meetings, and I just want us to reflect on our roles in representing the interests of the community and in thinking about their needs and how we best solve the problems of the community and meet the needs of the community. I think there are a lot of things on our agendas tonight that reflect both of those things, and so just a moment of reflection on the importance of the work we do here. Thank you. Thank you. Any remembrances before we sit? Yeah, go ahead. Many constituents had their homes burned before last. Lost that reminder, and let's just take a minute to think not only of those folks but others who have had hard times strike them and reach out to them to give them support as well. Thanks, everybody. Madam Clerk, can you please call the roll? Certainly, Mr. Mayor. Councilor Costo, Councilor Travis, Councilor Faulkner, Councilor Lee Garcia, Councilor Michael Garcia, present. Councilor Lindell, Councilor Ralworth, here. Mayor Weber, present. Mayor, you have a quorum. Thank you. Can I get a motion to approve the agenda, please? Second. All in favor say, "Aye." Opposed? Motion carries. Madam Clerk, can you take us to the first item on the agenda? Yes, Mr. Mayor. The first item is 8A. It's introduction of legislation, consideration of a resolution sponsored by Mayor Alan Weber. It's a resolution updating the terms of Resolution the Knights of Columbus Council 10517 to display veteran banners commemorating Santa Fe heroes in 2024 and 2025. Very good. This is just the introduction of this resolution. Most of you probably saw the piece in the paper over the weekend saluting our friends, the Knights of Columbus, who have agreed to pick up the important work of this banner program. With their outstanding leadership, we look forward to passing this resolution that will amend our existing enabling legislation so that that can happen right away. What's the next item, Madam Clerk? Next item, Mr. Mayor, is item 8B. It's consideration of a resolution sponsored by Councilor Signe Lindell. It's a resolution authorizing the sale and consumption of beer and wine during the Santa Fe Pride Festival on June 29th, 2024, in a beer and wine garden adjacent to 100 South Lincoln Avenue, pursuant to Subsection 23-6.2 C SFCC 1987. Councilor Lindell. Mayor, just a point of order, so it's not consideration of this, it's actually introduction. That's right. Just want to clarify that we're not taking this up for discussion at this moment. It's just being introduced. That's correct. This is all under introduction of legislation, but the language doesn't quite read them, so you are the go ahead. Yes, thank you, Mayor. I think it's self-explanatory. It's so that we can the HRA, the Human Rights Alliance, would be able to serve beer and wine. It's on the northbound lane of Lincoln Avenue, and the date would be Pride weekend, June 29th. It's from noon to 5:00, so pretty self-explanatory in the memo. Thank you. That completes the agenda for this special meeting. We'll be back to take one of these items up after the committee adjourns, but for the moment, this meeting is adjourned. Thank you, everybody, for making it possible to get this done today.
