Originally from southern New Mexico, I have resided in Santa Fe since 2011. Throughout this time, I have witnessed programs’ successes and challenges in implementing services that sustainably address the complexities our populations face. I have seen great potential when cross-sector collaboration is achieved, but only when it is rooted in representation of the peoples’ voices. Additionally, there is great strength in fostering community capacity by drawing on data-driven planning methods to identify tangible solution. My primary interest in being a Human Services Committee member is to have further opportunity to give back to the community that I also call home. On both a professional and personal level, I am well networked throughout New Mexico.
