Re: Funding Carry Forward FY2026 to FY 2027

ITEM AND ISSUE:
Consistent with Mayor Garcias commitment to support critical and significant City operational and
planning priorities with FY27 one-time funding allocation, the Affordable Housing Department has
received one-time funding for the following:
BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY:
1. Grants & Services (AHTF) 2420223-510400 for $3,794,005 to issue Affordable Housing Trust fund
Awards and operational contractual obligations.
2. Grants & Services (GF Affordable Housing) 1002750-510400 $265,007 for vendor contracts and
other operational services for the Affordable Housing Department.
3. The total of this Carryforward Bar is $4,059,012
Staff continue to work diligently to spend these dollars.
ACTION REQUESTED:
The Office of Affordable Housing respectfully requests your review and approval of the Affordable Housing
Trust fund, and GF and BAR to move funding from FY2026 to FY2027
