AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2026-32 TO MAKE A TECHNICAL CORRECTION IN10
SECTION 3, SWAN PARK BOND QUESTION, CHANGING THE AMOUNT FROM11
$3,500,000 TO $4,250,000.12

WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Santa Fe ("City") in Santa Fe County and14
the State of New Mexico wishes to submit to the November 3, 2026, General Election ("202615
General Election"), the questions of the issuance of its general obligation bonds in the aggregate16
maximum principal amount of $25,000,000 for the purposes specified in this Resolution; and17
WHEREAS, the Governing Body adopted Resolution No. 2026-32 subject to all18
constitutional and statutory provisions and limitations as listed therein; and19
WHEREAS, NMSA 1978, Section 1-16-3, requires the City to "file a resolution proposing20
the ballot question" with the County Clerk not less than seventy (70) days before the election at21
which the ballot questions are proposed to be submitted to voters; and22
WHEREAS, the City submitted its question on August 21, 2026 as required; and23
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 20263-32 contained an inconsistency in that the Resolution’s24
caption listed a dollar amount of “UP TO $4,250,000”, while “Section 3. SWAN Park Bond25

Question” (“Section 3”) listed a dollar amount of up to $3,500,000 in general obligation bonds”;1
and2
WHEREAS, the caption of Resolution No. 2026-32 also states that the “total maximum3
principal amount” for all four bond questions is $25,000,000; and4
WHEREAS, in order for the dollar amounts to equal the stated $25,000,000, Section 3 of5
Resolution No. 2026-32 should state $4,250,000, not $3,500,000; and6
WHEREAS, the Governing Body hereby determines that the Bond Election Question,7
Section 3 should be amended to replace $3,500,000 with $4,250,000.8
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE9
CITY OF SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO THAT Resolution No. 2026-32 shall be amended as10
follows:11

Section 3. SWAN Park Bond Question. The Governing Body proposes that the following13
question be submitted to the registered, qualified electors of the City and requests that the Santa Fe14
County Clerk place the question on the ballot for the 2026 General Election:15

GENERAL OBLIGATION SWAN PARK IMPROVEMENT BONDS17

Shall the City of Santa Fe issue up to $4,250,000 in general obligation bonds, to be repaid from19
property taxes, to plan, design, construct, equip, furnish, and improve a splash pad and related20
public recreational facilities and infrastructure at SWAN Park?21
